It's a treat to be this close to nature and quiet solitude that Burns Bog offers, just minutes from 'civiliation'. The Highway is so close it is visible from some spots but unheard. The bog is said to be the Lungs of the lower mainland, sucking in the carbon dioxide and breathing out oxygen. It seems that is also brings in all the quiet and leaves the noise of the city outside.
